ABOUT

I am an enthusiastic, hard-working graduate and potential employee

specialising in television, film, and the creative sector, having practical

experience of working within the industry in the form of hands-on

experience with both industry-standard television studio transmission

setups and on-location filming with a range of equipment throughout all stages

of pre-production, production and post-production. I am accustomed to flourishing in the fast-paced, time-restricted, demanding environment the sector requires and am able to learn new tasks and overcome complex activities quickly and efficiently as well as provide a friendly, confident demeanour at all times while thinking creatively and positively.

As a volunteer, I have previously managed and been a Community Mentor Leader of a team of around 30 individuals on a peer-to-peer mental health support site, with my roles including scheduling and planning team meetings, training new team members, writing forum posts, hosting both group and 1-1 support sessions, arranging events, troubleshooting subcommunity issues and solutions, and communicating with site leaders on team progress and areas of concern. This experience helped me develop essential skills including collaboration, communication and time management.

Having an INFP-T personality type, some of my main traits include being open-minded, emotionally expressive and perfectionistic. I feel these traits truly enhance the quality of work I produce and my success with goals. I am always open to feedback and will rarely rest until I am completely satisfied with what I'm working on and will not settle for less. My emotional intelligence allows me to be aware of an individual's feelings, confidence and comfortability which enables me to support them to the best of my ability, as well as helping my screenwriting capabilities when writing characters and scenarios.

Outside of education and professional situations, my interests include spending time with friends, music, and cooking. Music is one of my biggest passions and I spend a great amount of time exploring different genres and new artists.
